OSCAR night, a mega show as always. But did you know that the most diverse award category is "Make-up & Hair"? 7 of the 11 nominees are not white men.

But besides that they are. And quite old they are the nominees.

The average age of the nominees across all categories is 52 years. All nominated men make it to 54 on average (so I can still hope! :-) But who thinks that Hollywood is all about young girls…well, all women in all award categories average 49 years. By the way, the oldest nominee is John Williams with 87 - that and even more statistics here in 10 charts.
